NPX Lab Processors

Parent Previous Next

Processors affect signals after they are loaded from a file and before they are visualized. There two main families of processors: time domain processors (e.f. filters) and spatial filters (e.g. ICA, Laplacian, etc...). The easiest way to have access to them is to use the "Processors Form" which can be invoked from various tools (e.g. NPXLab, the File Converter, the Common Spatial Pattern Tool, etc..) and from either menu items, sidebars or buttons. NPXLab, for example, can activate it from the main menu (Tools | Processors...) and by activating the Popup Menu in the EEG Trace View while in EEG Mode (selecting the "Processors..." menu item).

The following Processors are actually available:

  1. IIR Filter;
  2. FIR Filter;
  3. Recursive Filter;
  4. FFT Filter;
  5. ICA Spatial Filter;
  6. CSP Spatial Filter;
  7. Small Laplacian;

Note that, depending on your NPXLab edition, some of the processors could be unavailable or might present limited functionalities.
